Prior Scholarship Students To Attend Universities!

Norton Hammersley Firm News

As Norton Hammersley continues to work with the Riverview High School IB Program to develop a Scholarship Program for students interested in the possibility of pursuing a legal career, we decided to look into our prior scholarship students to find out what they are doing after graduation.  We are pleased to announce that our three prior scholarship students have been accepted and have decided to attend the following universities:

James Cramer, our very first Scholarship Student, is a 2014 graduate of Riverview High School, and plans to attend Cornel University in Ithaca, New York.

Samantha Weinmann-Smith, our second Scholarship Student, is a 2014 graduate of Riverview High School, and plans to attend the University of Central Florida.

Nicholas Dynin, last year’s Scholarship Student, is a 2014 graduate of Riverview High School, and plans to attend Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York.

To be considered for the Norton Hammersley Scholarship program, the students need to be enrolled in Riverview High School’s IB Program, and must be available 2-3 hours a day/three days a week for approximately three weeks, to job shadow with our attorneys in hopes of completing approximately 27-30 hours.  The times and dates that the student participates varies depending on the activities available as well as the schedule of the student and the attorneys.   Students are chosen by Dr. Gallagher, the IB Program Director.

Congratulations to all of our prior students!  We are so proud of you!!!!
