Dress Down for a Cause: American Diabetes Association

Norton Hammersley Firm News

Each quarter, the firm selects a local non-profit to support. Recently, Norton Hammersley implemented the “Dress Down for a Cause.” In exchange for a donation of $5.00, any employee may wear blue jeans to work on the selected Friday. The amount collected by the staff is matched by the firm and the total amount is given to the charity that was chosen for that quarter.

The first charity for 2013 to benefit from “Dress Down” will be the American Diabetes Association. In addition to the donations collected, Erik Hanson and John Compton, two attorneys at Norton Hammersley, will participate in the Annual Tour de Cure Southwest Florida cycling event on April 7th. This is the American Diabetes Association’s largest and signature cycling event for diabetes in the country. Tour de Cure is held in over 80 cities nationwide and is changing the future of diabetes. All attorneys and staff are invited to participate.
